For over a decade, General Fitness Gym (formerly known as Crossfit PDX) has been providing safe and effective strength and conditioning programs in Gresham, OR. We adapt our methods to each individual member. Whether your goal is to improve a 5k run time, increase the weight on your barbell lifts, or simply to get out of the chair and move that day, our gym will offer the guidance to get you there.
Making a lasting behavioral change is not an easy thing to do. It requires a bit of self-discipline, motivation, consistency and a supportive environment. Each one of us begins at a different skill and physical level and with our guidance you are one step closer to achieving your health and fitness goals.

Thrown into the pool at an early age on a recommendation from a doctor claiming that it would produce a strong heart for a child suffering from Asthma, Joel spent most of his early years smelling like chlorine. However, his heart did grow strong in more ways than one. For over a decade, Joel has committed himself to helping others reach their full potential. He believes that through repetitive training we are able to reprogram the self to achieve better results. He would say, that it takes a conscious effort to want to be better, one day at a time. You can still find him swimming his heart out!
ANDRA FLETCHER
- Crossfit Level 1 Trainer
Andra’s interest in sports and fitness started at a young age. Soccer was her first love, and she still enjoys playing the occasional game on the weekends. Andra is a certified CrossFit Level 1 trainer and member of the coaching staff. However, her primary focus is on making sure the day to day operations of the gym are running smoothly so both members and coaches have the resources they need to accomplish their objectives.
ANDREA BECERRA

Andrea has been athletic from an early age, engaging in sports like basketball, softball, and dance. She frequented local gyms but never felt fulfilled or driven enough in those sports to pursue them aggressively. That all changed when she discovered General Fitness Gym, which transformed her life in more ways than one. She was hooked by the high intensity and variety of the workouts, as well as the community and family-like atmosphere.
Andrea is committed to always improving her technique at our gym, which has led to improvements in other aspects of her life outside of the gym. This passion led her to pursue her coaching certification. Andrea has a deep passion for people, and as a coach, she’s determined to see you succeed. She will do all she can to motivate you and be your biggest advocate. Andrea strives to lead by example, especially for her two children, showcasing a lifestyle of activity, fitness, health, and discipline.
